Public Hearing + Adoption
The Leo-Cedarville Plan Commission will consider recommending Envision 2035 on February 11 @ 6:00 pm at Town Hall. The Town Council will consider adopting Envision 2035 on February 18 @ 5:00 pm at Town Hall.
January 29 -
Community Open House
Attend this open house-style event to review key concepts and provide feedback on the updated comprehensive plan, Envision 2035. The event will be held from 5:00 - 7:00 pm at the Cedarville Park Pavilion.
September 16 - Community Workshop
Come at your convenience to this open-house style event to provide feedback on Leo-Cedarville's future. This event is from 5 - 8 pm @ Leo Jr./Sr. High School, enter through Door #28.
August 6 - National Night Out
We will be attending National Night Out @ Riverside Gardens from 6 - 8 pm to chat with the community and promote the community survey. Come say hi!

Envision 2035 - Public Hearing Draft Complete
The public hearing draft of Envision 2035, Leo-Cedarville's updated comprehensive plan, is available for public review. Click below to download the plan and the appendices. A hard copy can be viewed Monday - Thursday 9:00 am - 3:00 pm at Town Hall, 13909 Pony Express Run, Leo, IN.

A public hearing will be held at the Leo-Cedarville Plan Commission meeting on Tuesday, February 11, at 6:00 pm at Town Hall. The Plan Commission will consider forwarding Envision 2035 to the Town Council who will consider adopting the comprehensive plan on Tuesday, February 18, at 5:00 pm at Town Hall.
Envision 2035 - Community Draft Complete

A public open house will be held Wednesday, January 29, 2025, from 5:00 - 7:00 pm at Cedarville Park Pavilion. Attendees can review key concepts in the plan and provide feedback.

A series of community stakeholders were interviewed over a span of two days to generate input and overall understanding of Leo-Cedarville. The stakeholder groups were arranged to include representation across a wide array of community services, organizations, and invested residents. The groups are below:

Steering Committee Formed + Project Identity Created - June 2024
Over the past several months, a Steering Committee has been formed to guide the ENVISION 2035 planning process. The Steering Committee consists of 17 invested community members who are tasked to collaborate with Town staff and project consultants to facilitate public engagement and ensure final plan documents reflect the gathered input. The Steering Committee met for the first time for an introduction to the project and to begin analysis of Leo-Cedarville.

Additionally, a project logo and project website were created to give a sense of identity to comprehensive plan and provide a home for all things ENVISION 2035. Stay up to date at www.lc-envision.com.

Opportunities are quickly coming for you to get involved, including participation in Stakeholder Interviews. These interviews are planned for late July and will consist of a 2-hour meeting for each topic to discuss the following topics:

Consultant Selected + Project Underway - April 2024
The Town of Leo-Cedarville has contracted with Hometown Initiatives LLC, a local planning and community development consulting firm, to complete the update to the Envision Comprehensive Plan. The Town's Project Team and Hometown Initiatives have finalized the project scope and timeline and are eager to move the project forward.
