Good news is here! The Community Survey for Envision 2035 is live! Please invest 15-20 minutes in completing this survey and making your voice heard for your community! We are eagerly awaiting your responses!

A series of community stakeholders were interviewed over a span of two days to generate input and overall understanding of Leo-Cedarville. The stakeholder groups were arranged to include representation across a wide array of community services, organizations, and invested residents. The groups are below:

• Character, Identity, + Livability

• Land Use, Growth, + Economic Development

• Downtown

• Transportation + Public Services

• Parks, Trails, + Natural Systems

• Elected + Appointed Officials

We appreciate all of you who were involved in these interviews and provided valuable input. 

Of course, if you would like an opportunity to share your vision for Leo-Cedarville, there will be many upcoming opportunities to do so. Check back as we update you on the community survey, planning pop-up, and community workshop!

Over the past several months, a Steering Committee has been formed to guide the ENVISION 2035 planning process. The Steering Committee consists of 17 invested community members who are tasked to collaborate with Town staff and project consultants to facilitate public engagement and ensure final plan documents reflect the gathered input. The Steering Committee met for the first time for an introduction to the project and to begin analysis of Leo-Cedarville.

Additionally, a project logo and project website were created to give a sense of identity to comprehensive plan and provide a home for all things ENVISION 2035. Stay up to date at www.lc-envision.com.

Opportunities are quickly coming for you to get involved, including participation in Stakeholder Interviews. These interviews are planned for late July and will consist of a 2-hour meeting for each topic to discuss the following topics:

• Character, Identity, + Livability

• Land Use, Growth, + Economic Development

• Downtown

• Transportation Systems + Public Services

• Parks, Trails, + Natural Systems

The Town of Leo-Cedarville has contracted with Hometown Initiatives LLC, a local planning and community development consulting firm, to complete the update to the Envision Comprehensive Plan. The Town's Project Team and Hometown Initiatives have finalized the project scope and timeline and are eager to move the project forward.
